You would have to convert to OBD I so you could use Hondata. You could easily have $1500 to do all of this.

I would suggest staying away from the cheaper software available for the Honda's. Without having a good datalogger tuning software is useless. There is no way to know if the changes you are making are actually being applied.

That is why you invest in a datalogger. Mhmm. Not that hard

What kind of datalogger? They are not all created equal.

99% of dataloggers are the same. I use an lm1

What do you have the LM-1 wired to?

With the lm-1 I also use the lma-2 Will data log rpm, throttle %, knock, afr, boost. It will log and can upload to a computer later. Or hook it up straight to a laptop and view it log live.

That's no really a great way to log. You still cannot see what the computer is calculating in it's memory and are usually limited to 5 sensors you can log. Hondata is definitely worth the money.

You should open a dyno shop then, because I am sure that is just as easy as giving advice in how to tune

They have made freeware for the Honda car's for those who want to tune their car's and try to save money. I understand people want to try and keep cost down but usually the freeware ends up costing me alot more time than it's worth.

Time to you translates to higher cost to the customer, sometimes cutting costs in the beginning ends up making the total cost in the end more. <- I found this out the hard way, in the long run if you listen to your tuner and get the stuff they ask for, it makes it better for everyone. The tuner doesn't have to fight with something they don't like or is not going to work, as a direct result the customer gets a better overall deal and support.

Only point im trying to make is yes you can go cheaper. But you have to know what your doing and take the time to tune. Alot of people break stuff for not getting a good tune. Ive run cheaper stuff even a safc on 2 of my maximas. I broke down and spent the money now running full standalone. It is very nice makes it way easier to to tune and can see whats going on.
